Seeing a brilliant full moon is a feast for the eyes.
: : :
Here,
at dusk in the early evening,
I’ve caught Skeen School, a one room school house.
It is now leaning precariously to the south and the east.
Located in the heart of the Palouse,
the premier wheat growing region of southeastern Washington State.
: : :
I will admit that this is a composite image.
One of the full moon and one of the school house,
regardless I still love it.
The rich blue of the expanse of the sky
and the brilliance
of the moon.

wow, that’s an awesome photo!
ah. i was wondering if you merged two pics. :)
What a lovely capture of the moon and worn-out schoolhouse. It reminds me of a photo of a barn (now gone) that I took not too long ago. I’ll have to resurrect the image and post it one of these days.
You created a beautiful shot with that huge moon and the tilting school. Excellent merger in my opinion.
The best of both. :)
So is this shot! Wow!
Wow.
Gorgeous image! Two outstanding subjects. I’ve never created a composite image, yours is very well done!
Composite or not, this is well done, Marge. The only way you could get this image with such clarity in both the mood and school house would be HDR, so don’t feel like you cheated! Awesome pic!
Sorry for the typo…I should reread before hitting “publish.” Of course I know your are Madge, not Marge. Jeesh.
Wow! I love it, too! I wouldn’t be able to tell that you merged the photos – it looks so wonderful!
WOW that’s all I can say is WOW!
I thought at first you had stretched the picture in some way with some software. Love the shot.
Your picture came together wonderfully! That poor old school house sure is a’ leanin’!
That’s a great image. Sometimes you just gotta do a little something extra. Looks like both of them would be great though. Love that old school. I’ve seen more charming, leaning buildings since I started photography. Love all of them.
I totally love this image.
It looks like the moon is wearing it down.
Amazing capture, Madge!
Wow- fantastic shot Madge!
That moon is absolutely THE BEST!!!! I love the tilt of the old school, but the moon is awesome!…:)JP
Stunning!!! It took my breath away when I first saw it!!!!!
Wow, stunning photo

Oh wow! I ove this! Perfect merging of two great shots.
Holy cow, what a fantastic shot this is. Big giant moon and eerie looking building. What a great combination.
This is great! I love this combo.
That looks so eerie beneath the full moon. Great capture.
Madge,
I think the composite photo works. Neat combination.
There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile,
He found a crooked sixpence against a crooked stile;
He bought a crooked cat which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked house.
Mother Goose.

just wow ! :)
