Every job has its own specific tools, that may or may not have an application on a different job.
: : :
Here, at Fishermens Terminal
in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle,
some of the most common fishing tools seen are lines and buoys.
: : :
I’ve pulled in very tight for this shot,
with the fluorescent pink buoys dominating the image,
offset by a coil of a small gauge line.
: : :
I haven’t said much about my health lately, not wanting to bore anyone.
But I was encouraged by my 6-week post-op checkup this week, it was very good.
I also started PT yesterday.
I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how excited I am to be better
and getting some exercises that will pick up the pace!

Sooooo thankful that you are feeling better, Madge. XO!
I’m glad your check up went well, and that you are starting PT. Best wishes for a fast recovery back to normal.
That’s such a cool image!
Love that color of red/pink. xo
PS — Rock that PT and get better quick!
Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Boating accouterments can be so colorful. The color, shapes, and textures make this a great shot.
Love the composition of the photo. Great shot! I’m glad you are doing well, and starting PT.
Hello, thank you for hosting the linky. I love your photo! Best wishes, get well soon!
What a lovely photo. I bet you get to see all kinds of fishy stuff. So glad to hear you are doing well.
A beautiful shot yet again! I am so pleased to hear that you are improving, long may it continue! Take care. Chel x
Glad you are feeling better and able to get some exercise in. Lovely close up shot.
I’m so glad to hear that you might be on the mend, Madge! Hopefully, you’ll be regaining your strength and energy soon! I do love your bright pink buoy image….love to see the details you’ve captured.
Love the color, shadows and light Madge. May you continue to heal a little more each day.
Love all that nautical stuff around docks! Good news from you on the health front is great to hear! And I’m glad you made it over the hurdles…you certainly had your share. Hopefully this is the turn in the road and won’t be hitting any more speed bumps. The cortisone shot I had on Tuesday into my heel seems to have done the trick. I have one more to go next week and will continue with the anti-inflammatories. I never would have thought plantar fasciitis could be so crippling! Better days ahead for all!!!
you always get the most interesting photos living where you do!
Love the composition, Madge. And that pop of red is so colorful! :)
Great composition.
I have been thinking about your health, Madge! Glad to hear recovery is going well.
Just checking in to see how you’re doing. I’ve not been good about joining your memes lately. (Sorry!) Glad to hear you’re making good progress! I’m sure there’s no one happier than you! I hope PT goes easily and well. I do know it’s worth the effort.
Great composition. l like the big, pink simple shape against the twisted, curly rope.
A lovely shot there Madge, thank you for hosting even though you’re not so well at the moment, wishing you perfect health x
I do hope you feel much better soon Madge, a great shot there :)
Wonderful composition, Madge. So glad you’re doing well!
A fine combination shot of the buoy and the contrast of the line. Makes a very effective image.d I was glad to hear of your progress on your health.
Love that red – glad you’re feeling better!
good to know you are on the mend!
Cool shot, Madge! So glad to hear you’re getting better.
It’s bad enough to run out of gas in a car, but a school bus–yikes!
