Buoys and Lines – Weekly Top Shot #85

Buoy and Lines - Fishermens Terminal - Ballard WA

Every job has its own specific tools, that may or may not have an application on a different job.

: : :

Here, at Fishermens Terminal

in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle,

some of the most common fishing tools seen are lines and buoys.

:  :  :

I’ve pulled in very tight for this shot,

with the fluorescent pink buoys dominating the image,

offset by a coil of a small gauge line.

I haven’t said much about my health lately, not wanting to bore anyone.

But I was encouraged by my 6-week post-op checkup this week, it was very good.

I also started PT yesterday.

I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how excited I am to be better

and getting some exercises that will pick up the pace!

  1. Love all that nautical stuff around docks! Good news from you on the health front is great to hear! And I’m glad you made it over the hurdles…you certainly had your share. Hopefully this is the turn in the road and won’t be hitting any more speed bumps. The cortisone shot I had on Tuesday into my heel seems to have done the trick. I have one more to go next week and will continue with the anti-inflammatories. I never would have thought plantar fasciitis could be so crippling! Better days ahead for all!!!

  2. Kay

Just checking in to see how you’re doing. I’ve not been good about joining your memes lately. (Sorry!) Glad to hear you’re making good progress! I’m sure there’s no one happier than you! I hope PT goes easily and well. I do know it’s worth the effort.
