Yellow Wild Carrot

Wild Car·rot : wīld kerət : [noun] : another term for Queen Anne’s Lace.

Here,

while out walking our Corgi-Mix (Lucy),

I came across an abundance of young ‘Wild Carrot,’ or Queen Anne’s Lace.

All of the plants were a vibrant spring green,

except this one plant

that was this brilliant shade of yellow.

Poison?

Dog?

I don’t know,

but,

it is pretty

nonetheless.

Playing along with Nancy at ‘A Rural Journal,’

for ‘Random 5 Friday,’ here’s my five random facts:

  • I have practiced lettering/calligraphy every day since Christmas Eve 2015.
  • My garden peas are thriving and are about 8 inches tall.
  • My veggie starts are about 8 inches tall inside under a grow light.
  • My sister named a newborn lamb after me, born on April 8th my 66th birthday, she’s a strawberry blonde.
  • I’m in the middle of re-organizing my art/sewing room.

There you go… probably more than you wanted to know!
