With all our snow, DEAD leaves never looked so good as these.
We had more snow fall over the weekend, now the forecast is for freezing rain and then more snow. Yikes! At least the sun is shining right now.
Great shot – so typical of this year. I’m loving the early spring – but concerns about summer water will haunt us. Everything seems to be bursting into bloom at once. Achooooo.
nice, rich colors. we’re about a month late in our normal spring in texas.
Global weather weirding. On the other side of the world we have some spring bulbs shooting – before we have reached Autumn or Winter.
Scary, although I’d rather have the warmer instead of the colder! I just know that prolonged change is going to lead to real change, the kind we probably won’t like. Moss is not a common sight in the drier clime of NE Oregon, but those leftover leaves are quite familiar. My husband had surgery when it was leaf-raking time, so it was my task last fall. There are places I missed!
I love the lush, green moss of the PNW. Lovely shot, Madge. I hope you are not one of those allergy sufferers!
Such lovely color and texture.
Beautiful nature shot.
Nice contrast of the green from the moss and the brown of the leaves. I always think moss looks so pretty.
