Barns can be ‘characters’ or ‘characterless.’
: : :
Don’t give me any bull,
just give me a metal one…
on my barn!
: : :
Here,
a small red barn in the eastern King County town of Enumclaw on a farm
has some metal decor – a long-horn bull in black, like a silhouette.
: : :
I am always delighted when I pass by homes and farms with ‘character,’
they make me smile.
Of course, they offer me opportunities to take a few shots
of their eccentricities.

Love that metal longhorn. Adds a great touch to the scene. Nice capture , Madge.
Isn’t that a cute bull! And I like the rust on the posts, odd as it might seem. Red barns are my favorite.
Great find! I like the bull and that rusty gate too!
that’s cute.
Gorgeous photo! Love the longhorn and that rusty gate!
Wonderful colors.
Love it all, so much detail and talent!

i like that, it looks like it’s attached to a headboard!
Cute shot. Rusty and ragged but with character. MB
A fine barn with this special decoration. I like the unusual barns too. I heard today that some group is pushing for establishing a heritage list of barns in Washington State. I hope that becomes true.
Love this! You always come up with great titles for your posts too. That is a challenge for me.
“No bull” the motto of a famous car dealer in AZ… you just bring back memories…
Nice find.
