‘Forget-Me-Nots,’ a tiny blue spring flower.
: : :
One of my favorite flowers of early spring are ‘Forget-Me-Nots.’
Dainty, and a beautiful cornflower blue, they make a delightful bouquet in a small vase.
: : :
Here, from my back yard gardens,
I took a few Forget-Me-Nots, and a couple purple ‘Johnny-Jump-Ups,’
made a tiny bouquet tied with a piece of pale yellow organza ribbon,
and rested them on my 1870s copy of the devotional ‘Daily Light.’
It made a pleasing,
tiny still life.

I wanted to add a texture to this image.
To find an interesting texture, I searched the internet, and found this free vintage Kodak film texture.
: : :
Taking the film texture I found, I applied it and adjusted the opacity to create this interesting image
to share over at my friend Nancy’s place for ‘Tuesday Muse.’
