Brushes at the Ready on a Crab Boat - Fishermens Terminal - Seattle WA

Boats must carry everything needed on board, including cleaning items.

:   :   :

At Fishermens Terminal in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle,

a crab boat deck boss has thought of the need to keep the deck clean, so a couple of large,

long-handled scrub brushes are kept close at hand to be used at a moments’ notice.

Again this week we’re visiting Fishermen’s Terminal.

I would like to be out there shooting today, but am home,

quiet and jumping now through a new health hurdle.

Pneumonia.

Please be patient with me,

as I may not be able to get around to visiting all of you this week on WTS #79.

I am putting my energies into getting well.

  1. I am constantly amazed how you can take the most ordinary subject and make it extraordinary!

Sending prayers for a speedy recovery over both the surgery and the pneumonia.
Do put your energies on getting well. That’s what’s important.

  2. Oh, Madge. Our lives, at least health wise, are mirroring each others, and not in a good way. Just came out of the other side of back issues and pneumonia myself. Of course you should be putting every drop of energy into getting well. Sending love and healing your way. Hang in there, my friend.

A fine use of common items to make a very good picture. I’m glad you’re concentrating on getting well. Don’t worry about the weekly items you work with. They’ll be three when you are well.
