Colorful and mind bending, a rainbow of neon glows with brilliance in a design firm office.
Here at the architecture and design firm of Urbanadd
in the SODO neighborhood of Seattle,
I was not only attracted by the colors,
but the lack thereof.
The bottom set of neon tubes were ‘out’
creating a juxtaposition of form and color,
a positive and negative.
The mesh chairs at a client consultation table in the office lobby
also added their own element to the scene.

I have lots of those in my life and personality,
some are important some are not.
I’m artistic and creative, but not mechanical.
I’m fairly adept with written words, but not with numbers.
I’m friendly, but almost painfully shy.
I’m fairly easy going, but stress a lot.
I love red vines, but not licorice.

Positives and negatives…
I can see the details clearly, but I miss the big picture a lot.
I can focus in and get a project done to perfection, but I don’t get anything else done.
I love licorice, but I don’t like red vines.

I love the colors and lack of colors in your shot. I definitely have contrasts in my own personality. I am an introvert who craves socializing.
My positive/negative for today…I’m ambitious but lazy. It’s 9:30 AM and I have yet to make coffee…I need to prevent this ambitious/lazy thing from becoming a trend! Very cool photo!

I love the tones and the curves in your photo – soft and electric at the same time! I’m reflective and like to evaluete the pro’s and cones in the processes before taking action – sometimes we need just to get started act, where I feel like on thin ice …

oh this is a tough one – I’m super nice – but have a quick temper. I’m fiercely loyal but if you cross me I will cut you from my life – just like that! NOt good!

The photo is great with the opposites…It does really represent the opposites we often see in life too. I don’t like my negatives, but figured if I work on focusing on my positives, then the negatives usually soften and aren’t so bad. Thanks for hosting again Madge…thanks for your insights as well.

I used to be a red vine only gal. This winter I’ve come to enjoy the black…it’s pretty good. I’m not a coffee drinker…hope that doesn’t mean I’ll develop a taste for that too! [giggling]

We all have lots of good and bad in our lives, Madge. We just have to remain focused on the positive.
I don’t consider myself artistic, but I like photography and will try a craft project. I am not mechanical either, not even a little.
I like writing and have limited success with numbers.
I’m usually friendly, but frequently feel socially awkward.
I’m a very detailed oriented person who is ultra organized. I am a neat freak who is not a fan of clutter.
I stress a lot and easily become anxious.
I love chocolate!

Really neat photo! I have to agree with you on two things – I’m friendly, but almost painfully shy and I’m fairly easy going, but stress a lot. I have come to accept that I am more introverted and try not to beat myself up for it! I’m just usually not the one to strike up a conversation with someone, but I am always friendly if someone talks to me.
