A mish-mash of structures creates an odd barn. Here near my sister’s place in Littlerock WA is this odd barn. Two structures appear to have been joined and then neglected. Do you ever feel like your life is a mish-mash? I feel a bit thrown together this morning, still needing more time to regroup, even though I just had a four day weekend, how did that happen?? Ah, well tomorrow’s another day…

looks like its seen better days, poor thing….country magazine has a picture of an old barn from the palouse (is that right?) that was sagging in the middle really bad….i wonder if i’ve seen it on your blog before…it’s red :)
That’s a little bit of everything, isn’t it?
I feel like this all the time! A hot mess as they say. :)
in its day, i bet it was a beauty
Odd, yes! But photogenic too, especially from the angle you chose to shoot it.
Makes me wonder what it looked like when it was new. Could it be that part has fallen or maybe it started as a lean to, hmmmm.
Have a great week.
definitely interesting that they are joined together!
That is rather odd!
Long weekends always used to make me feel “lost” when I was working.
The part in the background looks like it is better shape…but they are an odd couple.
That is really strange! Doesn’t look like it’s going to be around long!
Very interesting barn! I wonder what they were planning to do with it. Yes, I definitely feel mishmashed today!
That really is a mish mash of building! I’m definitely feeling mishmashed today – I usually do on Monday’s, though…
Doesn’t look like much holding up the near barn!
I am always mish-mashed. HA HA
After having my kids and grandkids for the holidays I’ve had a little mish mash of feelings today. :)
I wonder if this had been an intended home conversion on the one side. The roof of the barn really slopes.
It could have been unique instead of sadly neglected.
That some patch job.
That is one fallen down barn. Barns intrigue me. Very nice photo.
Yes, a bit odd, and yes, I often feel a bit of a mish mash. But then the mish mash makes life all the more interesting.
Refreshing post!:>)
wow, could use some TLC. such character though.
hey, i have a Christmas giveaway going on at my blog … please be sure to stop by. have a great week. ( :
It is a great photo though, even with an almost falling down barn :-)
Did it collapse? It looks awfully close to the ground… I’m not real sure! Lovin the rusty roof & the cupola
Thanks a bunch for joining, Madge! =)
What a great barn!!!!
The roof is falling, the roof is falling – no, wait – wrong rhyme! I love old barns – yours is terrific!
I think we all feel a bit mish-mashed at times! I definately spent quite a few years with that label while raising my kids. Half of me was standing and the other half was falling apart. Great description of an interesting photo, Madge.
Very interesting structure to say the least. Terrific find!
I know that feeling!
Oh Madge I feel just like this old hodge podge barn but I am sure I am just as interesting as it is:) Great shot. B
