Daisies are simple, and simply beautiful. Every year I take a few shots of them whenever I can find an open field full. This year I took my requisite shots, and then got down on my knees pointing my camera up from ground level, letting the auto-focus find its own mark and released the shutter. Granted it is a hit and miss method of shooting and most of the images are trash, but then there is the odd keeper, like this one. Using my new-used Pentax 43mm Limited prime lens, I was pleased with the result.

i like it very much.
Very nice. Sometimes a random shot like that is most pleasing.
What a great shot! Something simple and ordinary at a different angle makes it unexpected and beautiful.
What an incredible shot! I like it a lot.
I love photographing daisies….and any other “translucent” flower this way! Beautiful!
Love the focus results here! And love how they appear so transluscent.
Definitely a pleasing capture! Love it =)
ps Daisies ARE the friendliest flower!!! =)
Stunning shot. I love it.
Beautiful! The one focused daisy is just the right touch.
Congrats on the “new” lens, Madge. I just got a new one too, but haven’t had it out yet due to the rain. Tomorrow, hopefully.
The odd keeper indeed. I really like how this turned out, Madge. Congrats!
It was an experiment well worth trying, Madge. I like the effect.
The beauty of simplicity!
I also like capturing photos that way … lots of unused ones and then you get one like this! Gorgeous!
Nice shot, Madge! I’d come home sneezing. . .
BTW, on your recommendation I have harvested wild rose buds for sachets. Wow! Do they ever smell wonderful! And they seem to be holding their color beautifully. A real treat. Thanks for the suggestion!
Wonderful shot, perfect for Floral Friday Fotos, Madge:

What a beautiful shot. I wish I knew where the daisies were hiding where I lived, maybe I’m not finding the right spots. I’m hoping to pick up another camera at BI Rotary Auction and Rummage Sale.
