Early morning brings long shadows and playing light. Here a red barn along the old Vantage Highway in Kittitas County, is bathed in the warm rays of the growing light of day. Another red barn, I seem to have a whole parade of them, don’t I? But again it was a red barn that caught my eye to share with you! Sharing along with Tricia over at ‘Home of Barn Charm,’ in the beautiful state of Missouri.
Thanks for joining me today, for the view that is right here! ~ Madge

Great shot…love the lighting too!
Looks like the barn door is off the track. Not easy to get back on. It used to take 3 or 4 men to lift up the side that was off and set it back on the track.
I like the depth, richness and light of this photo Madge..
i love barns, as a city mouse i dont get to see many unless i get out and about elsewhere .. and i did this weekend .. love your barn with those shadows and ancient wood .. well done!
i love that orange glow.
what a wonderful pic! :)
Nothing at all wrong with red! :)
Love your photos. The colors are spectacular!
I hope you are feeling better now.
A great shot, Madge. I love the evidence of bird life on the rails of the fence and under the eaves. The color of the barn is so rich and mellow.
I love the red in the morning light…beautiful!
Looks like a beauty… someone needs to hang the left side of the sliding door back up on the roller! LoL!
Thank you for joining =)
Can ya really go wrong with red? I think not.
I love the contrast of the black fence. Great shot.
I thought that read Kitties County…I was ready to pack my bags and move. :)
Great photo!
