Glowing late afternoon light settles on the freshly plowed wheat fields behind a red barn in the Palouse.
Built in 1919, this well kept barn has not passed the century mark yet, but judging from its sturdiness and straight lines, I have no doubt it will. Sitting just outside Colfax WA on Highway 272 which connects Colfax to the towns of Palouse and Potlatch ID a few miles beyond. Not only do I like this barn, but I love the rich amber light on the surrounding fields.
Thanks for joining me today, for the view that is right here! ~ Madge
