Inviting, bright and beginning to bloom, spring is coming a few weeks ahead of the calendar this year. An open gate leads to the porch with a comfortable rocking chair, where one could sit a spell with a tall sweet tea and a good book to read; pausing to glance occasionally at yellow Forsythia and Daffodils fluttering and dancing in a gentle spring breeze.
I’m gathering so much visual joy as Spring rouses from the quiet, fallow ground and ‘dead’ branches, bringing color and scent back into my longer days. Sixteen days and counting to… Vernal Equinox (Spring) March 19, 2012 @ 22:14 PST!
