Ho..Ho..Ho! Holiday Spirit displayed on shipping containers. Here on a barge named ‘SeaTac’ (appropriately enough) in the Duwamish Waterway, are the words, ‘Ho, Ho, Ho,’ illuminated by large Christmas lights. The letters are eight feet tall and about three feet wide, it’s almost as if they made the letters big enough they’d get the spirit… which made me chuckle and wonder a bit about the person or persons at Naknek Barge Lines who decided to put up the display and what was their attitude and motivation!
I’m not sure about you but sometimes the stress of the holidays creeps up on me and I find myself with a long list of ‘should’ and ‘ought’ instead of ‘want to.’ Those thoughts compulsions can rob me of my joy and wonder at the real reason for this seasonal celebration, so taking the time to wander around and view Christmas decorations takes the edge off and makes me smile. This really big, ‘Ho..Ho..Ho,’ made me smile..several times … what about you?
i like it! :)
I do too… I worked on the waterfront for twenty plus years… I’ve seen more 20′ containers than I could possible count… but I’ve only seen three with ‘Ho..Ho..Ho!’ ;-)
It makes me smile too!
Good! ;-)
Well then – mission accomplished – it made you smile : )
Correctamundo!
Definitely!
;-)
That’s great! I would love to have them on my roof.
Well they’re on the sides of 20′ containers, call NakNek Barge Lines, maybe they’ll make you a deal!
I’m smiling Madge!!
