Viking… Jack Russell Terrier… Ballard Pet Store…
Ballard, is one of the oldest and best loved neighborhoods in Seattle. With a rich Scandinavian heritage, history and population it has always given the city some flair. Ballard is the center of maritime activities and home to Fishermens’ Terminal and the Hiram Chittenden Locks where inbound boats from Puget Sound are lifted to the elevation of Lake Union and vice versa. Ballard was incorporated as a city in 1890, one year after Washington became a state, then in 1906 it was annexed into the city of Seattle.
Ballard has a thriving business district along N.W. Market Street. ‘All The Best Pet Care,’ a business catering to the needs of pet owners in the area, offers quality goods to keep pets happy and healthy and owner’s satisfied. A window display featured the little ‘stuffed’ Viking Jack Russell Terrier. Near the rear of the store was another Viking helmet and the bumper sticker affixed below stating ‘Woof Da!’ That made my day, I smiled at it then and still do now, I love the humor and whimsy!
That is so cute. Made me smile, too!
It’s hard not to! ;-)
Darling! And on the couch of course.
Lol.. of course! ;-)
I wonder which opera he will howl out for us.

I agree, Catherine! ;-)
Perfect! So funny! What a great find for a post! And I can’t wait to use that one on my husband.
Thanks, Kay… you’ll have to tell me in he laughs….
so cute, he looks “real”
Yes… he rather does look real until you see the seams…
Too cute. If you can’t have a real Jack Russell Viking Dog — this is the next best thing. :)
I agree, Nancy… I wonder if he says ‘Ja Sure, You Betcha!’ ;-)
Madge, since you asked: I showed my husband this post. He got a big laugh out of it! Good post!
Thanks, Kay for letting me know… I’m glad he laughed too! ;-)
