Flowers begin fading fast as summer starts to wane… while an old, unused cabin sits overgrown by blackberries. If one could still look easily out its’ window, the view of common field flowers would be peaceful and lovely. I see a few more yellowed leaves each day, some flutter and waft on the warm, end of summer breeze to settle down on the ground for a long coming winter’s nap. Right now, with very warm weather, I’d welcome cool breezes and rainy days.
beautiful image.
Thanks!
Gorgeous! It’s like a West Coast version of Little House on the Prairie!
A little bit like that… but less so each year as more people move to Washington and build new homes… I love these views…..
What a beauty.
Thanks, Randy…
Warm as it is, I don’t think I’ll trade these warm days and flowers yet. . .
I like warm too… but in the mid 80s and above it is unmercifully hot inside a school bus and the law mandates (for safety reasons and rightly so) that the windows can only be put down about 4″… not a lot of air moving. Mid 70s, I’ll take that!
