Seven days a week early in the morning, employees begin stocking produce, fish and flowers for another market day. Seattle’s Public Market on Pike Street is one of the most visited and famous public markets in the country. By nine am most vendors open for business and the locals and tourists alike flock in for a stroll, to sight-see, to shop. It is the first of August and theme day for those on ‘City Daily Photo.’ ‘Postcard Worthy,’ is the current theme, so, what do you think, is this postcard worthy? Yup, that’s a postcard Madge, in fact, I’m sure I’ve seen one just like it! :D
Thanks Paul. Haven’t we all… it’s probably on every postcard rack in every drugstore in Seattle! Lol!
Definitely!
I like the way the red stands out!
Well captured!
Thanks Dennis!
Beautiful shot! Truly a postcard!
Thanks Luis!
most definitely post card worthy. Sell it at the market. :) Yesterday we were in Seattle and we walked through Pioneer Square. As soon as I saw all the knitted trees it was like stepping right into your blog. I imagined you standing right where I was taking a photo of the comedy underground. :) Blessings to you!
Too fun Christina… aren’t those Knitted Trees a hoot! Glad you have an enjoyable day!
You nailed it, Madge! Couldn’t be closer to the heart of Seattle than the market and that sign. Well done!
That’s true, except perhaps the Space Needle… thanks Raf!
Oh, I love neon signs. And I love Farmer’s Markets, too, so this post is doubly good!
I love neon too… I’ve been doing a lot of low light photography lately… thanks!
Great postcard Madge…next time I am in Seattle I will be looking for it at the tourist shops!
Definitely post card worthy Madge, typical of a famous local spot!
