Post Alley is unusual. Few alleyways in Seattle are named. Post Alley begins at its north end at Virginia Street, between First and Western Avenues, running to Main Street at the south end. The alley starts and stops here and there where buildings have been built across the whole block between First and Western Avenues. The alley has many small store fronts, restaurants, bars, loading docks and yes, dumpsters. This family friendly Mexican cuisine restaurant is located at 1122 Post Alley (Post Alley and Seneca Street) opened its doors in 2006. Taken at dawn, with my fish-eye lens, the colors seem exaggerated and saturated in this photo but it is as shot. The restaurant itself states that they have great service, refreshing margaritas, and high standards about serving authentic food in a colorful ethnic atmosphere.
I took a quick scan through your shots. Really great and interesting perspectives.
Thanks for stopping by CVDP and leaving a comment.
I like the bridge there, that barely made it into the shot on the right-hand side. And I like the idea of using the fisheye lens. Good choice! Lovely rich colour, too.
