Odd Barn - Littlerock WA

A mish-mash of structures creates an odd barn.
Here near my sister’s place in Littlerock WA is this odd barn. Two structures appear to have been joined and then neglected. Do you ever feel like your life is a mish-mash? I feel a bit thrown together this morning, still needing more time to regroup, even though I just had a four day weekend, how did that happen?? Ah, well tomorrow’s another day…

  1. looks like its seen better days, poor thing….country magazine has a picture of an old barn from the palouse (is that right?) that was sagging in the middle really bad….i wonder if i’ve seen it on your blog before…it’s red :)

  2. After having my kids and grandkids for the holidays I’ve had a little mish mash of feelings today. :)
I wonder if this had been an intended home conversion on the one side. The roof of the barn really slopes.
It could have been unique instead of sadly neglected.

  3. I think we all feel a bit mish-mashed at times! I definately spent quite a few years with that label while raising my kids. Half of me was standing and the other half was falling apart. Great description of an interesting photo, Madge.
