A large tin rooster marks the home of Cock-a-Doodle Who? Well, honestly I don’t know whose home this marks, but over on Vashon Island in the middle of Puget Sound, it does. I’m a appreciative fan of folks who use their creativity to make unusual garden art, mail boxes or house numbers. This one made from obviously recycled materials and looking very Americana made me smile when I first spotted and shot it and it does again today. (Clicking on any image gives an enlarged view).
Thanks for joining me today, for the view that is right here! ~ Madge

Cute, rusty, rustic, rooster sign. It made me smile.
If I had a house and some property, I’d want something whimsical like that out front
I love it! I want one :-)
i like it!
It does look American doesn’t it. Great folk art, and a nice find!
Y’know? I really like it!!!! For lack of better words to describe it for me, I’d call it a ‘homey touch’.
Rustic, but adorable!
Love, love, love it! I want one. :)
