Fallen : faw-luhn : [adjective] : having dropped or come down from a higher place.

Before the season passes,
and it is passing by so quickly now,
I wanted to enjoy these brilliant, red maple leaves one more time.
They created a perfect scarlet carpet underneath
the soon to be bare branches above.

It has been quite some time since I’ve posted to my blog.
My server did a WordPress installation update in late August and
something caused my blog configuration to ‘break.’
I called tech support, but it was late September before they got back to me
and told me that they could not help me troubleshoot the cause of my posts
not displaying in proper date order.
: : :
It then took me some time to discover
it was a particular plugin that ran my gallery page,
and then because I could not troubleshoot that problem,
a good friend of mine who is very knowledgeable in all things code,
took a look and it appeared to work correctly, but just not on my blog.
Now what to do? First, I had to ditch my gallery page.
For a while I looked at other plugins and couldn’t find what I wanted,
then thought perhaps I would start fresh.
Starting fresh would have meant losing eight years of indexing etc., on Google,
so I really didn’t want to do that either.

At long last,
today’s search for a gallery plugin resulted in one that is simple
to use and has some options as well.
I have started creating some galleries by subject, but it will be a bit of a process
before they are complete.
I am SO thankful to have found a resolution as last
and to be publishing posts once again!
Next week, I will start up ‘Weekly Top Shot,’ again,
it’s been a while since it was
last published.

~Blessings Always~
Welcome back.
On this side of the world we are lurching into summer fast. Too fast.
I adore seeing photos of your arboreal fireworks.
Thank you.
The leaves are gorgeous – up here too. Did you get the rain like we did today? It came down in buckets full.
I’m looking forward to weekly top shot again – I’ve missed it – and you – happy to see you back and so glad that you got your blog problem figured out.
Nice shot, Madge. We ar past peak foliage here in my portion of New England but we still have splashes of color here and there. Hope your doing well.
What a relief to discover you didn’t need to start from scratch.
Welcome back, Madge!
