Here,
in early evening as light was lowering,
I’ve caught the Lowell’s Restaurant neon sign
above an entrance into
Pike Place Market.

This is not the restaurant
featured in the movie ‘Sleepless in Seattle,’
that was the Athenian Cafe,
a couple doors down.

If you’ve come by for ‘Rurality Blog Hop,’
I’ve closed it for the time being
and am deciding if I want to continue it or not.
Interest in it has declined dramatically
recently.

What an incredible image.
Only you can decide whether you want to continue – but I will miss you if you choose to stop. And I have only just found you.
Love that neon.
No…came by for you….:)JP
I always enjoy your photos! It may just have to do with it being summer. I sure have found myself in a summer slump. It’s a bit cooler today, so I am making the most of it…
Great color! I was disappointed to see you may discontinue Rurality Blog Hop. It inspired me to watch for rural scenes, although I missed the deadline more than once.

Good Morning, Madge.
I have noticed a decline in blog posts the last month or so. Not just Rurality, but bloggers in general. As you well know blogging is very time consuming and I wonder if it has peaked. I see the same think on FaceBook. I have greatly decreases my FB usage and have noticed the same from others.
At the same time I still enjoy sharing my photography, ranch life and thoughts.
I will have to check out the books you are reading. Yes, I love to read and get lost in a good story.
I hope you have a blessed Thursday and weekend.
Some signs can be pretty funny. btw Never frequent restaurants with OPEN signs. NOT a good food sign to me. hahahahaha
i love the light in this! i always love your photos!
Sorry to hear of the closing for now; always enjoyed looking through the thumbnails and seeing your take on rural life. I have had problems with the linky recently. For some reason I cannot upload photos from my blog and have to upload directly from the computer file. Wonder if anyone else has had that problem. All the best-hope to see you on other hops!
The rurality closure is sad. But how about trying an Urban Blog Hop for 6 months – sometimes a change is as good as a rest, or so they say!
