Red Barn on Fugate Road - Polar Photo Creation

Polar photo creations, a manipulation to distort an image into a square with a circular subject inside.

:   :   :

I haven’t played with creating a polar image in a long time,

so thought I would today to do something different for Tricia’s ‘Barn Charm,’

meme over at ‘Bluff Area Daily,‘ that so many of us love and share at on Mondays.

:   :   :

I looked through my archives for a likely photo with a fairly unobstructed sky and relatively uncluttered foreground.

Here is what I chose, a favorite red barn in the Palouse on Fugate Road in a polar view.

I’m not a big fan of photo manipulation,

but doing something different once in a while is fun,

and gives a fresh perspective.

Here my red barn appears to be floating on it’s own little planet in a stormy spring sky.

What do you think?

Like it?

Or not?

  1. I expect to see Dorothy and Toto flying through the air any minute! Never mind, I see someone else has the same thoughts. At least I am not the only one. That was the first thought that crossed my mind.
