Fishing, often it is both a passion and a pastime. Here at Point-No-Point on the northern tip of the Kitsap Peninsula, a woman in chest waders is fishing, probably for Chum Salmon. A freshwater fisherman (fisherwoman if you’re going to be pc) I’ve never fished in the saltwater surf with waders, but this looks like fun to me, and I love salmon, especially fresh salmon!

i always feel like there must be something else to fishing… why? folks do it in the 1st place … another than just catching a fish … i wonder? ha. ha!! (:
Nice capture. She’s my kind of gal.
The one time I ever tried fishing it didn’t end up very well!
great hobby/passion. :)

Great way to pass a day! And nicely caught.

Great shot, Madge. Love her red hair! :)
Great capture! I don’t like to fish but I love to be by the water. Point-No-Point brings back memories of when my cousin and I visited a lighthouse there.
Salmon is wonderful! I used to fish a lot but it was always from a boat. My biggest fear here would be falling over and not being able to get up. Cool photo!
I absolutely love this…usually you see men….that this is a woman…just makes the photo that much more of a treasure. I love it!
I LOVE to fish…
