to see if I’d catch anything to photograph,
and here was pepper roasting in progress,
who would have thought?

I suspect it smelled as amazing as it looked.
Those are Hatch Green Chile from here in New Mexico.
That looks like a whole lotta peppers, too! If they’re doing things like that, I can see why they’re on the expensive side.
