Fluo·res·cent : flôrˈesənt : [adjective] : a very bright color.

Here,
on the corner of 1st Avenue and Pine Street
across from the entrance to Seattle’s famous Pike Place Market,
I’ve caught this fellow in front of a Starbucks coffee shop
handing out something to passersby in the rain.
: : :
Interestingly enough,
I believe I took a photo of this same fellow in 2012
inside the Market waiting for an event to open,
and posted it as my Weekly Top Shot #27.
Now that I’ve seen him in the same area and garb twice (except the hat),
I wonder what he is handing out, don’t you?

Sharing with Tanya at ‘Willy-Nilly Friday 5.’
Here my five randoms for this week:
1) I’ve sold $1300 worth of my old gear already on eBay, another $1700 to go.
2) My asthma has kicked in again, and I’m back on Prednisone, oh joy, not to be snarky, I’m thankful for it, but its a rough med to take.
3) Just went outside to call the cat in and noticed the Wisteria has perfumed the still night air with its lovely, sweet scent.
4) I turned 65 this week, guess that means I’m thoroughly a senior citizen now.
5) I’m longing for the Palouse in eastern WA, maybe I’ll have to plan a trip for a few days when I get well.
~Blessings always~

Love your fluoro man. I think I would be tempted to ask him what he is handing out.
You are right about prednisone too. I have had to have it intravenously a few times and it may be a wonder drug – but it isn’t a lot of fun.
Most importantly – happy birthday.
Madge, you might have to check out what that guy’s passing out to satisfy our curiosity as well as yours. It certainly made an interesting shot! Praying that you’ll be better soon.
Love java but not a big Starbuck’s fan. F-man can have it.
Madge,
It’s been awhile since I joined in, but had a post that was relevant today.
Very, interesting and energy filled photo.
Hope you get better soon!
Jemma
I’d too like to know what he is handing out – but I also want to know what the lady directly in front of him is doing with her sword.
We are longing to get back to the Palouse – hope you feel well enough soon to make a trip over. We’d like to see springtime there, again.
Thanks for your lovely linky, I came across it on my twitter feed and thought I’d link my new photo feature post to it. How interesting with the guy in the fourescent green outfit. He might enjoy knowing that you’ve photographed him twice if you run into him again. Shame about your asthma and congratulations on your birthday. Of to add your badge and read some posts. Hopefully ‘hang out’ next week.
Wow, Madge, A fluorescent mystery! Have you discovered what he is handing out?
amazing that the only change in his attire is his hat! sorry to hear about your asthma, one granddaughter while in France one time ended up in a hospital because of her asthma. so take care, please! I googled Palouse- amazing scenic views!
Happy Birthday Madge!
I hope your asthma will get better … Sometimes the spring with flowers and dusting may irritate the lungs a lot (that happens to my husband).
The fluorescent man is a mystery … a sort of commercial for something maybe?
Happy weekend to you,
Nina
A belated Happy Birthday and hoping you feel better soon!
When I opened the page and saw your title I couldn’t help begin to sing ‘Rocket Man’ replacing it with Fluorescent Man. :)
He sure stands out doesn’t here.
NIce street shot.
That would clash with my hair.
Happy birthday! The bad news is we have to grow old, but the good news is we never have to grow up!!
Maybe you can find out about the flashy guy next time you’re in the area.
Hard to miss that guy! Such a bright addition to what seems a very grey day.
Happy belated Birthday Madge. Age is just a number, at least that’s what I keep telling myself after turning 59 in March!
Best birthday wishes, Madge. Hope your health goes back to 100% soon.
At least your fluoro man won’t be getting run over by cars!
Thanks for hosting.
Here’s to another 65 years full of health and happiness, Madge!
Thank you for hosting the link party, Madge, and belated Happy Birthday! All the best and especially for your health.
The fluoro man shines very bright ;-)
Very happy to join you here this week.
