Here near the tiny (did I say tiny?) town of Viola, Idaho, a barn, er house sits with a tv antenna attached to the roof. This is one of those buildings that it is hard to tell just what it is or was used for, a house, a barn, or perhaps both. It certainly has a barn shape with the hipped roof and weathered siding giving it a barn appearance. What do you think?

I’d say maybe it’s been converted.
I like it!
This is a really cool barn shot. It does look like it has been converted to a home of sorts. If it were mine, I know I would convert the top to living quarters and the bottom into a studio for pursuing my artistic endeavors. Have a great day.
I would say it is now a hide away for some guy that needs time away from his wife.
I think the owners installed TV to keep the mice in the loft entertained!
I had the same thought, maybe a place for a guy to putter and watch football. I do love barn homes, though! Nice shot of this one.
maybe it’s a man cave…love it! i would use it for my “get away” area!
Man Cave – extraordinaire! love it.
Maybe a ManCave for some guy that doesn’t get to watch TV too much at home :)
I think it’s a pretty neat place – would love to see the inside.
I just love that antenna!!! Even that is becoming a thing of the past.
i bet the loft is a residence while the barn remains below. :)
love love love
Since I live in eastern Washington, I love these old barns—and seek them out to photograph. This is a beauty.
Looks like it started its life as a barn. The TV antenna would suggest a house.Nice shot.
Hmmm, that’s a tough one! I’m going to guess house! Or maybe the farmers just wanted to watch TV while working in the barn? Haha. still, my vote is for house. :)
It’s a charmer!! I vote for barn below, house upstairs! :)
I adore those clouds and I would love see the inside of this renovated barn to house! Great catpure.
I’d say it’s a barn below and an office upstairs. Maybe?
Nice shot and an interesting question. It could be either or both, but I have in my mind a picture of a TV mounted to sooth the cows. Of course you would have to be very careful what channel you had it turned to…..
Wow! I bet it is a man cave. :)
I’m thinking probably a barn… either way, she’s a beauty & I hope they make some repairs soon, or all that beautiful weathered barn wood is going to collapse! =0
Thank you muches for joining =)
ps i changed the color of the font on my blog, is it easier to see for you, now? i want everyone to have a good experience when visiting & not dread dropping in! =)
I believe this is a barn where the cows and chickens watch the Farm Report on TV. Man Cave…maybe BUT it would make a great Woman Cave too…I want one! Very cool!
Great capture. Not sure if it is a house, but I think it would make a fine one.
