Texans Welcome

Laredos Grill - Seattle's TexMex Restaurant

‘Serving real TexMex to the masses,’ or so their website says. Personally, I haven’t visited this lower Queen Anne Hill restaurant for a meal. But after reading the menu, I’d certainly like to, this appetizer sounds delicious: ‘Carne Asada Bites- Mesquite grilled skirt steak skewers served over black bean & roasted corn salad.’

But the ulterior motive for posting this fun neon and banner above the front door is to give a tip of the hat to my blogger friend, TexWisGirl, who hails from (where else) Texas. The banner made me chuckle ‘Welcome Texas Exes,’ loved that song by George Strait, ‘All My Exes Live in Texas.’ I wonder if you are an ex from Texas if you get a free drink or a discount on your meal, he.he.he.

  1. Love that sign Loredos. It looks like a wonderful mexican food style place or Tex/Mex as we call it in Texas. I was born/reared/ and have lived in the same county my entire life. No I am not a traveller. You photos contiinue to amaze me. And, I subscibe to Texwisgirl who arrived in Texas, I think in her early twenties, via Wisconsin.
