Autumn Lane

Rural Lane - Snoqualmie Valley WA

Autumn colors abound along a rural lane in the Snoqualmie Valley near Snohomish WA. Aren’t the colors of fall a feast for the eyes? Here, a gravel lane begins with a big splash of red, the fire bushes on the right, then the variegated reds of the blueberry bog below with a smattering of golds and oranges tossed in for good measure. Having had Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off work (Friday was a Teacher’s workshop, Monday and Tuesday I was off sick) I noticed yesterday that the rains and wind over the weekend have knocked down a lot of leaves.  Interesting isn’t it how quickly the weather can change the landscape.
