Cutout Red Barn in the Palouse

Barns, with and without doors, widened or changed for new equipment is often evident on farmsteads.

Here on a farmstead in the Palouse in Whitman County, an opening in a barn has been modified to adapt to equipment, at least once. Perhaps I could do that around here, buy a b.i.g couch, no problem, just cut out a piece of the wall next to the front door to bring it in… yup, that work’s for me! Wink, wink..

I worked most of the weekend, so I’ll be trying to catch up with everybody in the next couple days…

Feedburner… anybody else having trouble with Feedburner stats zeroing out for the last couple days?? Thankfully, my RSS feed is working just fine, I don’t like seeing ‘zero,’ under ‘Subscribers,’ though. Feedburner says: ‘Known Issue: Subscriber Counts and Stats, Friday, September 21, 2012 | 9:26 AM. Issue: We have been encountering difficulties with our stats production pipeline for data representing Sept 19th and 20th, 2012. We are currently working to resolve the issue.’ I’m still at zero this morning, they must still be working on it.

I like all the rooflines in this shot. And it almost looks like the profile of a big Frankenstein walked through the door. I can almost hear the farmer muttering to himself as he pulled out the sawzall and went to work.
