Hair, it grows and we need to have it cut. Here at Rudy’s Barbershop in the Belltown neighborhood of downtown Seattle, you can do just that. A haircut hasn’t been two bits (25ยข) since the mid 1800s, but you can get a basic cut for $25, color or bleach for $55, shampoo $5, or a beard trim $5. People on Yelp rave about this business which has nine locations in the greater Seattle area, two in Portland OR, five in Los Angeles CA and two in New York NY.
I’m fairly attached to my hair stylist, but if I had to change I might be willing to give them a try.

I HATE barbershops! Haven’t seen the inside of one since 1970. They changed?
Lovely composition!
Love the lighting!!
Looks like a picturesque little town. :)
Believe me, it will be a long time before I pay a barber 25 bucks for a “basic harcut”! My barber does me quite nicely for 13.
I’m kinda past due for a haircut, I think it’s been over a year again. (sigh) My hubby keeps complaining about the rising cost of a basic haircut here in our little town, it’s up to $14. What would he say to $25?!? Yikes!
P.S. I really like the brick building next door! ;)
Those are some pretty great prices!
I would have never guessed it was a chain.
What a neat little place!
Haha ~ now I have that little jingle stuck in my head!! $25 is still a good price for a hair cut now-a-days that’s for sure!
xo Catherine
good one …
Neat to see an actual barbershop, which seem to have been disappearing since the advent of “salons.”
I like this photo because it shows the beauty of the brick building next to a more modern style.
