Flying M Ranch - Endicott WA

Rolling hills, dry land farming and cattle ranching, is typical of spreads in central eastern Washington. Here along the rural two lane road between the small town of Endicott and the much, much smaller town of Winona is the entrance to the ‘Flying M Ranch.’ The Flying M is a cattle ranch among many in the area which is spotted with ranches and wheat farms.

  1. Why do I feel like humming, ‘I’m back in the saddle again’! What a great shot of a really great sign! You have such a good eye for these things, Madge! Thanks for sharing with us all of your lovely images.

  2. I have to admit, I have a bit of a fascination with cattle ranches. Maybe because we don’t have them out here – I’m really not sure. But this is a lovely capture! I can imagine all that open land and cattle and horses and campfires…

A great sign to find and shoot. I like the high degree of detail in this design with the creative M to the interesting scene on top that is amazingly complete. It’s a work of art for sure.
