Houseboats on Lake Union in Seattle are a colorful floating community. Here on the deck of one of those houseboats is a bright yellow kayak, which caught my eye as it rested among the flower pots waiting for the next outing.

it really is a pretty little sea-side grouping. :)
I think all those pots make a better story – even people on a houseboat have the urge to garden!
Wonderful colors!
That yellow color really pops out in a sea of greyish colors. Richard from the Amish settlement of Lebanon,pa
Love your photos, all of them.
We have a lot of kayakers (?) here in our area. I love to photograph them when they are all stacked up and are different colors…it makes for a beautiful capture. I love this one on the floating dock with all the plants. Beautiful.
Love the colors in this shot and nice composition, Madge.
Beautiful colors and reflection.
Beautiful picture you show of a houseboat with kayaking, etc.
My husband and I also sail a kayak.
Wishing you a good Wednesday.

great colors! i’ve always been terrified of kayaking. i’m afraid that it would flip over and i’d be stuck and drown…we like to canoe though, that’s more my speed!
what a sweet shot .. someone’s personal dock all dressed up .. love it
Nice! Would be fun to go kayaking and photo shooting.
I imagine they have some interesting parties and get-togethers. Love that yellow pop.
Cool shot Madge- such a bright yellow.
What a visual treat! So many layers and colours. The top layer is beautiful and ever so colourful. The new decking is warm and the old grey timber and large floating log supporting organic growth we can see above the waterline and I’m sure below the waterline too.
Super photo, Madge! Two thumbs up!!!
The deck looks like a piece of art with the kayak a sculpture.
