Husband and Wife, Mr. and Mrs., newlyweds. Waiting in the somewhat chilly late evening on Alki Beach for their wedding photographer, a young man holds his bride. Cruising around Alki Beach a few nights ago, while turning around in front of Salty’s restaurant, I happened to notice this young couple, so I stopped and got a couple quick shots before continuing on my way. Alki beach with downtown Seattle in the back ground is a favorite spot for newlyweds to have some of their wedding photos taken, I often see them and they always make me smile.

Every young lady looks good in a wedding dress, this one particularly so!
I can understand the attraction to having Seattle in the background of your wedding photos. Very nice street type shot, Madge.
Nice capture Madge. Perfect color.
What a nice photo! I love her “frothy” dress.
Hopefully they didn’t wait much longer as the light seems to be slipping away and it looks very chilly (which is hard for me to wrap my head around in our 100 degree – 80 in the evenings weather). Nice capture.
neat catch .. was it a real wedding or a bridal photo shoot?
Too bad they didn’t get your blog title — they likely would have wanted a copy of this. ;)
How nice to catch such a happy moment!
This is wonderful, Madge. You captured a moment of real friendship and romance. I take occasional photos of brides and grooms I don’t know, too. And in prom seasons, kids all dressed up like grownups and going to their proms. Photos of happy people never bore me.
