Seattle - Saint Mark's Episcopal Cathedral - Gothic Window

Colorful light in the early dawn floods a gothic window. Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle sits on the northwest edge of Capitol Hill. Construction began in 1928 and was finished and dedicated in April 1931. It is one of the most recognizable landmarks in town, easily seen from Interstate 5, Lake Union and Queen Anne Hill. Here just before dawn the natural and manmade light intensifies the colors washing over this gothic window.
