Rural markets, where you can buy a little bit of just about anything. The selection may be small, but covers a broad range of products. Here in the small, rural, western Washington town of Bucoda is the Liberty Market. I love going in small markets like this, often there are local items for sale that you won’t see else where. A sign to the right of the front door states you can buy Ice and Worms. The contrast of the two items made me chuckle.

Worms and ice got my attention! But, I would have visited your blog anyway.
ha, isn’t that the truth…there’s a local nursery here that sells firewood, plants and tobacco lol…we buy our firewood from them and my husband has stopped in to buy a cigar or two!
Love the color of the building for sure!
cute. :)
No supermarket can compete with that! Excellent!
Worms and ice – the fisherman’s basic requirements! Your snappy title brought back memories of fishing days in my younger years.
Anything goes!
WE have a lot of places here in East Texas where you can buy worms and a BBQ sandwich! I’m a little hesitant. What if they get confused?
Very Catchy! he he.
Your pictures are always very delightful and very colorful.
When we were kids, we had a boat and small travel trailer. We would park them for the summer at a lake in southern Minnesota. They had a store like this and we would take the boat from our dock over to theirs, pick up supplies, and head back. Such fun memories:-)
