Yule Do? What curious reason could be backing those words.
The Yule Do Ranch is somewhere in the Palouse, down a long dirt road and round bend or two. The sign marking the ranch sways gently in a soft breeze, a quiet squeak of the chains used to hang it, announcing where you are. ‘Yule Do,’ could be a good thing, meaning the place is sufficient, or self-sufficient, perhaps contentment with what one has, no greed to need more. Or it could be a bad thing, meaning I’ve settled for this ‘though I really wanted more, came here thinking I had one thing and discovered it is different than I thought, a place of discontent an unfulfilled desire. In my mind’s eye, it’s a good thing a place for settling and not needing more or other, regardless of the intended meaning I like it and think it some what whimsical! What about you, what does you mind play with in regard to ‘Yule Do?’
Thanks for joining me today, for the view that is right here! ~ Madge

Much to Christmassy to connote anything to do with ranching, me thinks.
I vote for contentment. Nice find and thanks for sharing it!
Well, regardless they look quite happy!
No idea what the ranch owner wanted to get across to us with the Yule Do, but I adore the sign!
Nice sign!
i love this cute sign!!
i love it! I would be the one sitting down.
What a curious sign, cute tho! =)
that’s very cool.
Love this sign! I really like the metal cut-outs to begin with and this one is humorous as well!
Great sign! X-mas tree ranch? Reindeer breeders? I would want to know more…..It would draw me in.
Perhaps… Nancy mentioned that too! It is smack in the middle of thousands of square miles of wheat fields… I sure didn’t see any Christmas trees growing there…
Any chance it’s a Christmas tree farm? :)
Great fun, good pun!
great silhouette capture and you may well wonder …
It ‘s beautiful and fantastic. Nice capture. I like this photo.
