Three trees, naked against the sky, display shape, perspective and size.
Ever notice how some scenes you view just resonate something inside you, and often your just not quite sure what or why? This scene is one of those for me. While taking shots of the old North/South Palouse Grange Hall, I turned around to see against the west perimeter of the property these three trees, whose scraggly limbs silhouetted against the bright blue sky and white clouds, just called to be shot and shared. I shot it, now I’m sharing it and that’s the long and short of it! :-)
Thanks for joining me today, for the view that is right here! ~ Madge

Beautiful composition, Madge. I love your nature photos. :)
I know just what you mean Madge. Sometimes scenes like this just leap out at you – and taking a photo of them is very much secondary to the inner buzz the view gives to your eyes and your inner self.
Nice perspective Madge, I love your photography! Have a great rest of the week.
Great photo! Good thing you turned around.
It was 83 here again yesterday. Summer weather… but bare spring-like trees still. Strange.
i like it very much. trees ‘writing on the sky’ as a blogger friend says.
A month or two and those trees will be ‘fully dressed’ Madge, lovely composition.
I like the trees on the hillside. Nicely composed shot.
I love that kind of shot. This is beautiful.
Can never have enough trees! Lovely capture Madge.
Lovely! I have a shot like that and it just didn’t work. This one comes together very nicely.
I would love to be stretched out on the grass, gazing up at that blue sky!
The movement in this shot is wonderful! What great trees, and what an awesome photo!
What a perfect shot with the trees against the sky and the little hillside behind. I can see why this one spoke to you!
Gosh…if those trees were missing and it was a little flatter that could almost be Saskatchewan! Haha!~
Beautiful shot ~ it looks so warm and inviting for a walk!

If I had seen this I would definitely have taken a photo. Trees on the horizon often make good photo subjects. In this shot the clouds also add to the nice scene.
What a beautiful PNW day! Such a rare find it is that you have captured. :)
Great shot.
Beautiful shot!!
