the light is magical.

On the one side of the Valley are the Sheepshead Mountains

and the other is the fifty mile long fault-block mountain called Steens Mountain.

    I have always wanted to photograph this area! Isnt it somewhere near the painted desert also???? incredible drama!! and the countryside is so amazingly visual and full of solitude! Just my idea of a great photo-shoot! what time of year was this Madge??
