Daffodils and Tulips - Pike Place Market

Bright, cheery and for sale, flowers are displayed at Seattle’s Pike Place Market.
Years ago there were many more produce vendors than these days in the daily or temporary stalls (not that there aren’t plenty to choose from in the permanent vendor stalls). But most of the daily stalls that were filled by local produce farmers are now filled with flower merchants. The profusion of flowers does make for a beautiful stroll through the market arcade. Today, I’m wishing I’d bought a couple bunches for the vase I put on my dining room table.

Thanks for joining me today for the view that is right here! ~ Madge

  1. Now that’s a sight to behold on a Monday morning Madge (well it’s Monday morning here in Perth) spring is the very best time for gorgeous bunches of flowers. I’ve been having a bit of trouble commenting lately, there’s always something!! Just wanted to say I loved your stunning images of the Palouse and your cheeky wee squirrel with your words made me think of ‘groundhog day’ somehow. Nice to catch up at last.
