Bright, cheery and for sale, flowers are displayed at Seattle’s Pike Place Market. Years ago there were many more produce vendors than these days in the daily or temporary stalls (not that there aren’t plenty to choose from in the permanent vendor stalls). But most of the daily stalls that were filled by local produce farmers are now filled with flower merchants. The profusion of flowers does make for a beautiful stroll through the market arcade. Today, I’m wishing I’d bought a couple bunches for the vase I put on my dining room table.
Thanks for joining me today for the view that is right here! ~ Madge

What a sight. I need that today. We’re dark and dreary with a chance for snow.

Very nice Madge – fresh cut flowers are a treat to indulge now and again!

Beautiful. I love tulips, but it will be quite awhile before we seem them here in the Rockies. Thanks for giving me a taste of spring.
Gorgeous capture filled to the brim with spring beauty Madge!
Hi Madge. Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog and for following me. I enjoy your photos and topics a lot and have added you to my favorites list so will check in often. Have a great week! Blessings, Pamela
Now that’s a sight to behold on a Monday morning Madge (well it’s Monday morning here in Perth) spring is the very best time for gorgeous bunches of flowers. I’ve been having a bit of trouble commenting lately, there’s always something!! Just wanted to say I loved your stunning images of the Palouse and your cheeky wee squirrel with your words made me think of ‘groundhog day’ somehow. Nice to catch up at last.
I think I need to pick up some spring flowers next time I see them . . .
Glorious color and shapes here, Madge. Thanks for this fine image!
I think you should go back and get them. They scream of spring. Pretty picture. :)
This is exactly why I would like to visit a city more often than I do! When we went to Portland in early December, we went to Trader Joe’s and I had a terrible time getting away from the flowers!
I love the flowers at the Pike Place Market! Such a sea of beautiful colors. I love how you captured that. Thank you for sharing!
My Goodness I love this still . Stunning. Yah.. It worked. I have you on my feed and dashboard. I will get your updates.
i so love all that color, they’re all so very beautiful =)
