The Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle offers numerous choices for dining. On the lower market level, just below the City Fish Market is the Pike Place Chinese Cuisine restaurant. It occupies a long, narrow space with a view overlooking Western Avenue, featuring dine-in, take-out or delivery within three miles of the Market location. Personally I’ve never eaten here and the reviews on Yelp.com are mixed, but their booths with hanging red table lights caught my eye recently on a walk through the Market. Shot with a tungsten setting I like the resulting blue effect.

Great shot. Love the quirky light
Very nicely presented… I will wait until after March 1 to add myself as a follower… am having all kinds of issues with Google account at the moment so don’t want to add anything more to the mix. Just found your meme through someone else’s post so am posting for the first time today… will go back to my post and cross link to here. :-) (will be in Seattle Feb 29-Mar 1 inclusive… visiting family and staying at the Sleeping Bulldog B&B from 28th thru 2nd… only my second trip to Seattle so suggestions for photo locations would be great if you have a moment)
An atmosphere from a sci-fi movie…
Blue is such a strong color. It hardly ever fails.
