Looking forward to Spring…
Through this garden gate, it looks lush and inviting, plants flourishing under a gardener’s hand. The Northwest Flower and Garden show began on Wednesday and runs through Sunday the 12th. I entered a contest on a local TV station for a set of free tickets, I’d love to go, perhaps I’ll win! I’m ready for Spring, are you?
Sharing with Friday Fences…
Pretty darn fancy gate and a good capture. Count me in as one that eagerly awaits the arrival of spring. Winter weather has been easy but I’ve had enough of the season.
oh i’ve always wanted a garden like this, with a cool old gate like that! hope you win the tickets!
totally awesome shot. i love that gate and what is behind it
Despite our overly warm winter, I am ready for the greenery of spring. I am tired of a beige landscape.
This garden looks so interesting. You always know how to frame a shot perfectly! Hope you win the tickets, but maybe you’ll go anyway.
Wow…stunning shot! Good luck, hope you have the winning tickets
I haven’t visited all week. This garden gate is just charming and I love the colors.
great shot. i sure hope you win. i’m not the best a winning prizes … maybe you will be. fingers crossed. (:
Great gate, and I’m so ready for spring I’d buy a set of tickets for the show!
I love the composition in this picture! Hope you win the tickets!
wow! pretty!
That is quite a fancy gate! I’m not ready for spring. We haven’t even had any winter yet and the summers are already too long and too hot!
Beautiful photo.
Regards and best wishes
I like the fence and all, but there is also a feel to this shot that I really like.
Nice gate…I thought spring might come early this year to Connecticut. However we are predicted to get 3 to 6 inches tonight and into tomorrow. Oh well I can always dream.
I just LOVE these shade of green. Melts the cold around here that’s for sure : )
Good luck on winning the flower show tickets. We used to have a flower and landscaping show in Louisville to get the gardening juices going for spring–now it’s more of a home remodeling venue. Is this your yard? If so, how fortunate you were to find this old gate. Your photo is worthy of a cover for a gardening magazine.
This would be a dream come true.
Love the juxtaposition of the fancy iron gate with the white pickets!
What a beautiful gate! Hope you win those tickets!
Good luck winning the tickets, Madge! How I would love to have such a gate on the farm! Beautiful photo.
Thanks for visiting my site and becoming a follower. You have some beautiful photos. I have become your newest Linky follower and look forward to seeing your future posts.
This is a terrific image. Composition, textures, colors, interest. It has it all, Madge.
