Sitting serenely in the Palouse, this farmstead with a modern aluminum roofed barn near the road is one of the wheat farms growing the basic ingredient in bread and many other foods. The Palouse is the premier wheat growing region of southeastern Washington State that also includes a part of western Idaho. The rolling hills, clear vistas and attractive farms and barns are a photographers delight.

You’re not kidding about it being a photographers delight… it’s gorgeous there! I thought we had rolling hills here, but nothing like that! That’s so awesome! Very dramatic sky, too! =)
Thank you so much for joining Barn Charm =)
Beautiful vista Madge! I’d be out there with my camera also.
gorgeous rolling hills! beautiful!
So pretty. I love all the open fields. It looks like a great place to go and let the mind wander.
Great shot – nice perspective and wonderful muted colors.
…and you are one photographer who KNOWS how to delightfully photograph a scene! Wow, wonderful composition and capturing of the rolling light!
Absolutely beautiful!
Whenever I get the chance to visit friends in Seattle, again, I am going to make it a point to visit the Palouse region. You have taken so many wonderful shots from that area.
We love that area – and spent a week over there last autumn – spectacular.
I would love to have a place like this. What a wonderful area.
Now that is some pretty scenery with a beautiful sky! I could drive for hours and look at that! :)
Love the green.
Beautiful!
