‘Needling’ the Night – Weekly Top Shot #15

Seattle Space Needle and City Skyline at Night

Sparkling like jewels, the city lights of the Seattle’s skyline at night glow and twinkle in the crisp winter air. And the crown jewel of them all, the Space Needle as seen from Kerry Park on the south side of Queen Anne Hill. I’ve posted so many shots of the Space Needle, but it is such a beautiful iconic structure that it is hard not to go shoot it again and again… and then post it again and again! I enjoy night photography a lot, scenes which by daylight are a bit ho hum turn into magical vistas with darkness and lights.

Somehow it is always easier to get up at 04:15 to go shoot around town or out on a day trip than it is to go to work. Same thing to go fishing or camping or you name it. Why is that? Human nature I suppose…

I just looked Kerry Park up on Google and found out it isn’t too far away from Kinnear Park. I lived on 10th Ave. W. when I was a little girl, and I remember going to Kinnear Park often.

Love the Seattle skyline at night!
