Rudolph the Red Nosed … Pig

Rudolph Pig at Pike Place Market

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer er, I meant Pig,
had a very shiny nose, and if you ever saw him, you would even say it glows! At the Pike Place Market in the Belltown neighborhood of downtown Seattle, Christmas is in full swing with magical, fanciful and colorful decorations. Here is one of five brass pigs mounted on the roof of the main arcade and decked out with lights and greenery, and Rudolph of course, has a red glowing nose! I love the Market any time of year, no matter what the weather it is always filled with locals and tourists alike vying for appealing crafts, flowers, produce, meat and cheese. There is the smattering of restaurants (small ones), a barber shop, seafood bar, coffee shop, Italian grocery, theater and so much more! I’ll be going again after Christmas, just to poke around, it is such a great place to do that… oh and of course with my camera!
