The world famous Pike Place Market, a place of hustle and bustle, people coming and going, there is activity where ever you look.
But here in the chilly early morning, prior to 06:00, while the fish merchants are still packing their display cases with shaved ice, and before the arrival of flower and craft merchants, the only two creatures walking along the main arcade was a fellow in shorts with a back pack and a local pigeon. I smiled at the subtle humor in the scene…
this is super! love it!
Oh, I long to have some time to do some shots like you! Who knew parenthood would pull away all free time? Great shot! I’m envious!
Great shot Madge!
I’ve been to the Market a good number of times, and that is definitely the fewest pigeons – by a good margin – I’ve ever seen there!
Great vintage interior and a great moment in time captured.
The early bird catches the. . .shot? Also interesting to see the Market so empty. Good shot!
What a great picture!!!!
Excellent capture, Madge!
I, too, have enjoying finding the market like that on occasion.
Wonderfully humorous image. Fantastic capture. Greetings from Charleston :^)
Love this picture! It captures the essence of a desolate moment at the market.
