Dead ending at the boat ramp on the Ship Canal in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, there is a sign post on 14th Avenue Northwest, with this variety of informational signs. Which one will you pick? Hmmm, ‘No Parking Any Time,’ or perhaps ‘Leash Pets, Obey Scoop Law,’ or perhaps you’ve arrived by boat, ‘No Moorage, 15 Minute Tie-Up For Launching and Retrieval.’ Oh, and this is a good one, if you’re in a car, watch the flashing lights and ‘Road End!’ This made me chuckle… too many choices for the early morning I visited the boat ramp, I headed for Short Stop Coffee for a strong cup of coffee so I could think clearly enough to choose wisely!
Good move Madge- it’s all far too confusing for me ;-)

Me too… that’s why I needed a cup of coffee! ;-)
do you want m to send you a SIGN to put up there with the rest? LOL
Sure… whatcha got?
One more reason I like living in a small semi-rural community, not that I need another one.
Let me keep posting… I’ll bet we find another one!
Does ANYBODY read these signs? If you want an interesting diversion sometime try counting the signs on a mile of road. Don’t even attempt it in the city – far too many to count. And not if you’re driving either. There ought to be a limit, maybe one sign every 100 yards, not twenty on one post!
I agree, we had a ban on billboards here about 30 years ago… so at least they are gone now!
Love that. Choose a sign any sign. Funny!
Which one were you going to obey?
Jeez!
Exactly!
Choices, choices, choices!
And then a couple more choices! :-)
“Sign, sign, everywhere a sign, blocking out the scenery, breaking my mind. Do this, don’t do that, can’t you read the sign!” Five Man Electrical Band
Wow… I haven’t remembered that song in years… great memory you have and it makes such a super comment!! ;-)
Those are enough to cause significant brain stall.
Uh huh…
All that’s missing is a garage sale sign. Poor pole.
Do you have one handy? I could put it up! Lol!
Now that can confuse people.
It could cause a headache too!
