Abundant… Blessings… Thankfulness…
Blessed, I am blessed by the Lord on this my 62nd Thanksgiving celebration. Often I am troubled by circumstances that bring stress into my daily life, so I am grateful for the reminder, each day and on this day, that I have much to be thankful for. When all is said and done, my cup truly runneth over. Loving family, steadfast friends, and a good steady job are the top blessings I am so grateful for today and each day. Even though my husband and I live a modest life in a modest home, we are safe, comfortable and we enjoy more belongings than most of the world. Hoping you and yours have an equally enjoyable celebration today with your family and friends that I will with mine!
May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
have nary a lump.
May your yams be delicious
and your pies take the prize,
and may your Thanksgiving dinner
stay off your thighs!

We had the best pumpkin pie in the world today made by my mother > with nuts and molasses and topped with REAL whipped cream, not “Cool Whip!” (After all, my parents live in “America’s Dairyland”)
