Sloop Tavern - Alley Mural

Bright and whimsical…
A local artist, Ryan Henry Ward (Henry), began painting murals around the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle several years ago, for free. As his fantasy filled and bright artful work has gained popularity, he now is commissioned to paint murals all over the city.  Henry now sells his artwork from a small gallery at Short Stop Cafe,  in Ballard on Leary Way.

His work can be found on garages, sides of homes, retaining walls, fences, vehicles, basketball backboards and sides of businesses. This large mural (in the featured photo above) was created on the side of the Sloop Tavern (in Ballard) in the alleyway, located at 2830 NW Market Street, it is filled with whimsy and color!
